The corporate office design should encourage employees to cooperate and inspire creativity. The more diverse the workspace, the more opportunities for employees to open up, increase personal efficiency, and establish constructive communication.

We created an office branding that encourages employees to cooperate and empower their creativity. The more diverse the workspace, the more opportunities for employees to open up, increase personal efficiency, and establish constructive communication.

We created a space where employees are encouraged to share and practice the VMware values. We wanted to empower people and help them feel inspired to work, collaborate and grow together as individuals and a team.

Indoor branding strategy

We've gathered insights from the VMware employees and their ideas of what the office should look and feel like. Based on that we've created a strategy that incorporates the companv's values in a way that would be best serve the needs of the employees.

Concept & design

We've created designs for the custom graphic wallpapers, glass frosting and decoration, interactive 3D elements. Some of 3D interactive elements encourage communication, some help build friendships, others help employees to be more structured and organised.

Onsite installation

Our main role in the project was to produce and install all of the 3D interactive elements. Productivity and comfort of the VMware employees was a priority, so we worked onsite only during off-hours and weekends.

Strategy & concept

The strategy deck we've created for the VMware offices' branding and decoration.

During our research and based on the provided employee feedback, we proposed four design themes to choose from. Finally, two of them were selected and implemented. 

The 3D interactive elements could be split into four different groups based on their purpose. Depending on the area, a different type was applied: in the relax areas - games, in meeting rooms - organisational, in common spaces - communications, and so on.

Empowering

The empowering objects allow people to have control over their environment. This helps them feel more involved and engaged.

Communicational

Even when people are spending their whole day at the office, sometimes they forget to communicate and connect. These elements remind of that need.

Games

Games help people bond, relax and enjoy each other. They are a great tool for creating a community with shared interests and ideas.

Organisational

Depending on the methodology (scrum, kanban, .etc) these objects help us be more strickt, productive and efficient.

The freedom floor

The styles of the theme are a result of the combination of abstract shapes, that encourage a positive attitude and outside of the box thinking.

The music floor

Inspired by the freedom and individuality carried by musicians, our idea was to bring a fresh and unique perspective to the office space.
